Have a look at our beautiful hand-stitched cushions. Bright and contemporary, they are made by tribal Meghwar women in Sindh, Pakistan. Every item I buy is Fair Trade where the women are paid a fair price for their beautiful work.
Now the exhibition and sale is over I am working hard to photograph and list my remaining pieces for sale online. Please keep checking every day as I will be listing more pieces every day. I have lots of beautiful reverse applique, patchwork and embroidered cushions made by the Tharparker desert Megwar women in Sindh Pakistan and some beautiful boho bags made from recycled embroideries as well as some beautiful collectible dowry items. Well it's nearly over! Over a year to organise and set up and 18 days of exhibiting and selling. Hundreds of people have visited the exhibition and I'm thrilled with the response and sales. Thank you to everyone who's come and had a look, who've told me their travel stories and adventures and shared their love of beautiful textiles. Thanks too to the amazing women artisans in Sindh, Pakistan and Gujarat, India whose skill and knowledge has created all the unique and beautiful quilts, cushions, bags, hangings, tribal clothing and exquisite embroidered pieces. These women are truly inspirational and inspire me to search the world and bring back their work to show Australians.
